Danish design company Muuto has crafted the design table KEEP with an ecological concept. Using leftover materials from furniture production, every KEEP table is unique and full of character while maintain strong ecological principles. The wood blocks are head together with metal bands. The design came from two design students Petter Thörne and Anders Johnsson from Konstfack School of Design in Stockholm as a senior project and is the winner of Muuto's 2009 Talent Award. The competition jury awarded them the prize because KEEP "has an environmentally friendly choice of materials combined with the simple but undeniably Scandinavian design."
