The H 55 chair is designed by Björn Hultén and is a true classic.  The chair was designed in 1954 by Hultén and was first used by Swedish king Gustav VI Adolf and given the name “The Kings Chair.”  The following year, the chair was displayed at an exhibition in the Swedish town of Helsingborg and took on the name H 55. The H 55 chair quickly became one of Berga Form’s great classics. The original chair was produced in Oregon Pine with a canvas fabric, while today it is produced in teak. The small head cushion can be adjusted and the stainless steel bar in the back makes it possible to adjust the tilt of the chair in four different positions.
