Designer Alfredo Häberli desired to create a series of glasses that was able to serve a complete range of fine wines while minimizing the total number of glasses. The resulting Essence collection is versatile while still fulfilling the demand of each type of wine. Each glass is carefully proportioned to naturally fit with the hand. The balance is exceptional in part because the rim and the base are the same diameter. The precise curves and straight walls of the glasses enhance the stability.
